Ipsy Glam Bag December 2017, what I got, review, swatches, and face using products!

Hi lovelies! I am so excited for this month's Ipsy bag! If you aren't familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag filled with 4-5 beauty products customized especially for you. You pay $10 a month (free shipping!!) And receive an assortment of almost all high end products in an adorable cosmetic bag. You are always guaranteed at least one full size product as Well! I have been subscribed to Ipsy for about four months now and have never once been disappointed. It always gives me something to look forward to each month.

This month's bag contained
  • Silver mint glitter cosmetic bag
  • Promise Organic coconut milk daily facial scrub with sugar and walnut
  • Lisa frank x glamour dolls eyeshadow single in heart throb
  • Smashbox always on gel liner in fishnet
  • Cosmoholic liquid lipstick in Mysterious Mocha
  • Luxie Beauty precision shader onyx brush 239

From left to right, the swatches are Cosmoholic liquid lipstick in mysterious mocha, Lisa Frank eyeshadow in heartthrob, and Smashbox always on gel liner in fishnet. You can clearly see how gorgeous the pigment on all of the products are.

The cosmoholic liquid lipstick has a gorgeous glossy finish and lasted for about 4 hours on me before I needed to reapply. On the lips, it has a slightly tacky finish but nothing bothersome. It is a lovely red brown shade that seems as if it could be universally flattering on all skin tones. The formula is smooth and opaque.

The Lisa Frank eye shadow my absolute favorite as the pigment in this is unmatched. I am obsessed with the shade and wears beautifully alone or with other Shadows.

As for the Smashbox eyeliner in fishnet... You probably won't find a pencil liner that that wears longer than this one. I had to scrub my hands a few times with soap just to get it to budge from where I swatched it. It is also very opaque matte Black.

Using the facial scrub is dreamy, it smells heavenly and exfoliates perfectly. It is not too harsh and I love it as a daily scrub.

Last but not least, the luxie brush that I received in the bag is beautiful quality. I have now received a few luxie brushes from the company and they are all extremely soft and durable.

Above I've applied the Lisa frank eye shadow as my crease color using the luxie 239 brush, cosmoholic mysterious mocha on my lips, and smashbox always on liner on my lower lash line.

Do you subscribe to Ipsy?! If so, what did you receive this month? Let me know in the comments below!

Wet N Wild Megaglo Highlighter in Precious Petals review and swatches

Hello everyone I hope you had a wonderful holiday! I know I did and I got a lot of new products that I'll be showing you very soon! Today I wanted to show you one of my absolute favorite highlighters in my collection by Wet and Wild. They named the line "megaglo highlighting powder" and they truly do give you a blinding glow!

These highlighters retail for about $3.99 and you can conveniently find them at drugstores or larger retailers such as Walmart or Target. Good highlighters are rare find outside of higher-end stores such as Sephora. I typically stick with my Anastasia Beverly Hills glow kits as they have never failed me and always give that Instagram glow, but wet and wild is really giving higher-end products a run for their money with this line!

I picked up the shade Precious Petals and it is stunning.

The packaging is simple and sleek. The highlighter itself is embossed with the super cute flower pattern. Such a unique design for a drugstore product!

The color is a champagne/gold with a pearly reflect. It also has some gorgeous peachy undertones that truly compliment any skin tone. I swatched the highlighter in both natural lighting and with a flash. I also did wet and dry swatches so you can see how the product applies when you use it in different ways.

The highlighter applies so smoothly and pigmented with extremely little to no fall out at all! It goes on so beautiful and flawlessly! There are absolutely no Glitter particles which makes me so happy because I despise loose glitter in my highlighters.

I can't wait to pick up more shades and I'll be absolutely sure to post reviews of them in the near future!

Below I've applied precious petals to my cheeks, nose and high points of my face. I'm obsessed with the glow that this highlighter gives!

Have you picked up any of these highlighters? If so, which shades and did you love them as much as I did? Let me know in the comments below!

New Product Alert!!! Too Faced Diamond Highlighter

Oh my GOODNESS guys. Have you SEEN the new Too Faced Diamond Fire highlight?!?! I am absolutely in awe! Before I tell you all about it, take a good minute (or 10!) To admire this beauty!

Too faced describes this product as:
This one-of-a kind highlighter is infused with real crushed diamond powder and light reflecting pearls to create a rainbow diamond fire glow like you've never seen. Light up your complexion for a pure radiance that works on any skin tone. Swirl the pink, blue, and gold shades to create your custom highlighter that can be used anywhere. The liquid to powder formula is hand poured ensuring that no two highlighters will ever look the same--just like a real diamond.

Now can we just talk about the packaging? I'm a huge sucker for adorably packaged products. And this one really caught my attention. Too faced has always been one of my favorite Brands just for the beautiful packaging alone, and they didn't disappoint this time around either!

The highlighter retails for $34.00 USD, which to some is a hefty price tag but seems oh so worth it!

Every highlighter is hand-poured an artisan made therefore making each one one of a kind. You can use this on your face, body, or as eyeshadow for your own unique looks. The highlighter is also infused with real crushed Diamond powder and light reflecting pearls.

The swatches truly remind me of the Anastasia Beverly hills Moonchild glow kit or kat von d's alchemist palette!

Has anyone tried this product yet? If so let me know your thoughts below in the comments if you were lucky enough to get your hands on it!

Winter skin: // Bath and Body Works Amber and Argan body spray and cream review!

Hi everyone! Today I really wanted to show you one of my new purchcases, the Bath and Body works Amber and Argan collection! I only picked up the body cream and mist since my collection is already large ebough... But if you're looking for luxurious moisturized winter skin, then let's get right to it!

To start  off, I absolutely adore the packaging. It looks gorgeous sitting out on your vanity or nightstand. It's a light pink with rose gold lettering and accents. The body mist has a beautiful elegant shape with the name of the scent printed on the inside.

The collection also Includes a luxurious body butter, hand cream ($4.00 USD), refreshing body oil ($13.50 USD) and a perfume roller ball ($14.50 USD).

The frangrance is described as:
An indulgent blend of Amber, argan, quince and suede.

Personally, I've never been a fan of bath and body work's original scent "sensual Amber" as I always found it a bit too musky for me. The Amber and argan is such  a delicate and feminine scent that can he worn for any occasion. I can wear it to work or out to dinner as it's so light and beautiful.

The fine fragrance mist ($14.50 USD) lasts beautifully especially when paired with the body cream ($13.50 USD). I applied both lightly in the morning and my boyfriend told me I still smelled lovely In the evening. The cream has a thick, rich texture that is extremely moisturizing.  I like to use it on my elbows, knees, or any rough patches after I get out of the shower.

The body cream contains 100% pure argan oil from Morocco for 24 hours of moisture. Not only that, but it also contains aloe, cocoa, and shea butters for all day hydration.

You can see how lovely the texture of the body cream is. A little goes a LONG way! Over all I'm extremely happy with these recent pickups from Bath and Body Works. Run over while they're still available for the holidays to pick some up! Let me know how you feel about them in the comments below!

Anastasia Beverly hills Moonchild glow kit review and swatches //

Hey everyone! I haven't been blogging much lately, and as a comeback I wanted to feature a product that  I absolutely love, so my first thought was the Anastasia Beverly Hill's Moonchild glow kit!
This highlighter pallet is absolutely gorgeous and contains six different colored shades. They are extremely unique and unlike any other highlighters you will typically find. There are two duochrome highlighters and four shimmery metallic highlighters.
I was actually first introduced to this palette what I saw a girl at work using it and I just had to know what it was. She used Lucky Clover, the green shade, all over her cheekbones and it was gorgeous. She had the most beautiful tan skin and it really sold me!
To start, this pallete contains six .15 ounce highlighters.
This palette is sold for $40 and is currently exclusive to the Anastasia Beverly Hills website.
This Shades it contains:
Blue ice: an icy white shade with a beautiful blue and silver reflect.
Pink heart: diamond white with a gorgeous pink reflect.
Star: a moonstone Fusion of mint, Moonstone and platinum reflect.
Purple horseshoe: a glittering lavender with arctic blue reflect.
Lucky clover: striking white with green and gold reflect.
Blue moon: Frozen blue with silver reflect .
I apologize because the swatches are not in order, but left to right they are... Pink heart, blue ice, Blue Moon, Lucky Clover, purple horseshoe and star. Swatches are taken with a flash.
These highlighters are buttery smooth to the touch and apply evenly without hordes of micro glitter as some of the other Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighter palettes have. I have no glitter fall out with this palette.
The shades do have a slightly powdery texture to them but used with a dense brush it is very minimal. You only need one swipe for a blinding highlight.
Here I have applied purple horseshoe to my inner tear ducts and cheekbones.
I don't have a single complaint about this highlighter palette! If you aren't one to normally splurge on highlighters and are considering trying this, it is 100% worth the few extra dollars! The shades are unique but also completely wearable. This palette is truly one of my favourite purchases to date.
